BAND CAMP!


day 1

woke up damn early cause my dad was overseas and i had to take bus with big camping bags. then jasmine smsed me about being angsty cause she didnt want to leave home for camp CAUSE she wanted to stay home to watch ISWAK. though she watched finish the whole thing already. hurhur. aye, also partly because the whole percussion sec 3 is not coming for camp also.

reached school and i saw mellissa. then sat down at the benches in front of the audi to wait for jasmine but in the end she smsed to ask me to go up first. -.- then went up and when i saw nutcase, the first thing she said was "SIEWYING! WHAT ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO SAY TO ME?"

i took off my earphones and went "HUH??!?!"

haha. HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY NUTCASE. (:

then saw kexin and she was like struggling with her bags so i went down to help her again and i saw jasmine come up. -.- then kexin kept going "omg siewying! why you suddenly so nice?!" -.- yeo kexin! i was always nice! you just didnt know. HURHUR. (:

then went into bandroom to put down stuff and then assembled to get into our groups. i was in group 3! together with jasmine TAN and jasmine POON and connie and some other quiet sec 1s. :/

so we set off for the amazing race. HMM. wah the clues very hard can! our first clues was a crossword puzzle and our station was germain's station, where we had to use everything and anything on our body to form the longest line. O.O

then after that we got the 2nd clue which was crap lah! the answer was TOILET. got so many toilets in school! WHICH ONE?! haha. then jasmine TAN and i were the super enthu and noisy people in our group lah. and we kept leading the whole group. then the other people just blindly follow us. :/ and jasmine and i kept screaming ZHENG YUAN CHANG!!!!! cause that's like our aftermath of ISWAK. (: haha. then we kept talking about being 188 cm tall and how tall is that height compared to us. haha. since you know, joe cheng is like 188 cm tall. (:

ok lame. then the toilet turned out to be the locker toilet. CYNTHIA'S STATION. we had to do sudoku! and our group people all dunno how to do sudoko! except for er someone in our group. i cant remember. :/ then after that we got a clue that said "where my beloved and i does frenching." so we were like "BANDROOM!" then cynthia was like "no it's not bandroom!"

so we went all over the school looking for some ulu ulu place where we would choose to do frenching. (sounds wrong. :/ ) and in the end, IT'S IN THE SECTIONALS ROOM. but who cares! it's still near the bandroom! and it's mellissa's station! so dumb! we had to go and find JUDY for her signature and judy was supposed to be like wandering around the school, BUT WE FOUND HER AT GERMAIN'S STATION. :/

then after that it was sabrina's station. cant remember what the clue was. we had to use rubber bands to form a skipping rope then 3 of us had to skip together. YAY I THINK OUR GROUP QUITE PRO IN THIS. cause we could skip quite continually, unlike some other groups that we saw haha!

then it was jiaying's station in the bandroom. ahhh quite dumb. we were supposed to use straws to blow balloons and since there were not enough balloons, we had to reuse the same ones over and over again. but i dont see the point cause saliva corrodes balloons and the more your reuse it, the higher the chances of it getting burst you know. and i was not contributing at all cause of my phobia of balloons. =x

ok then we got our clue from jiaying, which was this arrow that formed an upside-down U. and it's supposed to be a watercooler. -.- WHICH WATERCOOLER?! but ok we were spared from that cause it was LUNCH TIME! (: woah super hungry. then jasmine, jiaying, nutcase, mellissa, germain and i went to bukit timah marketplace for lunch! (: since it was the first time i went there, i ate whatever jasmine ate. which was nasi lemak. hurhur. then we ordered sugar cane juice!!! (: haha jiaying told me the last time they went there to ate, they all bought sugar cane drink from different stalls. all of them were green in colour except for nutcase's drink! which was BROWN. :/ weird. dunno which stall she buy from. haha.

oh oh! nutcase very dumb! cause germain was telling us dumb jokes when we were on the way there and nutcase was being super blur about it. see arh.

germain: "i ask you, why on a sunny day, birds fly in circles?"

nutcase: "oh really arh! i didnt know!"

then went back and we had time to discuss about farewell stuff. :/ did like nothing, cause school blocked youtube and we didnt know where to get songs and stuffs. then after that we had MARCHING! (: was quite blur at first cause i forgot all the commands and stuff. and jasmine and nutcase went off to SLACK by helping shi min to carry dinner upstairs to the bandroom from the carpark. then jiaying was commanding us (bass + trombone section) since horns only got jiaying and yufei (who slacked off helping jasmine!!). and it was damn fun and funny, cause jiaying didnt know how to say some of the commands. haha.

then after marching jasmine, nutcase, sabrina, cheryl, jacey, yixin and i were all choinging for the locker toilets haha. then jasmine was like "I DONT CARE. THE SEC 3S USE THE LOCKERS TOILETS." when yi xin and i already left the bandroom and were heading for the toilets le. then yixin and i were the first to shower in the toilet lah haha. we were taking our own sweet time until jasmine came in and rawrred at us. haha! then after showering, nutcase and i waited for jasmine outside at the benches near the rockwall. then the 2 of us went into our 二人世界 again. and when jasmine came out, she was like "OOI! why the both of you so close! nutcase! go further away from siewying! i will get jealous one you know!"

then after that jasmine, nutcase and i ate dinner together. (: food was NASI LEMAK again. but it was quite nice. then after that, jasmine went for some talk i think, cant remember. then nutcase and i were left alone in our 二人世界 again! we got bored and nutcase suggested taking photos with my phone.

err. ok. i cant remember what happened but something funny happened and we started laughing and this happened. HMM.

then shimin and cynthia came in to start our nighttrail! (:

CHAI JIAYING a.k.a. CINDERS. a.k.a. HOT GUY! haha. managed to catch this before she turned away.

ok for nightwalk, we were supposed to do stuffs at different places BLINDFOLDED. haha. so we got back into our groups and our first station was at germain's place, where we had to count balloons blindfolded. O.O ahhh balloons! we kept bursting them and i kept screaming. ok nvm.

then next was shimin's station. where we had arrange ourselves in order of the thing shimin tells us. like she says to arrange ourselves according to height, age, birthday whatever. and we were to be blindfolded. haha. then still remember cheryl's (basses) conversation with jasmine blindfolded.

cheryl: -pats jasmine on her shoulder/ head.- ehh! who are you?!?!?

jasmine: I DONT KNOW!!!

jasmine: eh wait! sorry sorry! im jasmine, im jasmine.

omg i almost fainted.

then the next station was cynthia's station. at first we couldnt find her cause shimin told us she was at the 3rd level science block. and we were thinking SCIENCE BLOCK. omg. we're so dead.

so we went up, and we headed for the science block, but it was so dark we couldnt see a thing. and xinyi very brave! she just walked straight into the darkness. and jasmine and i were holding onto each other for dear life. then jasmine was like "ok ok. everybody! line up behind siewying and i. we go first." then when cheryl came out from behind us, she screamed. and we all started screaming also. -.- WALIAO. jasmine arh!!

it turns out that cynthia was at the maths department. and our task was to play "where's the peanut" game. was quite dumb cause we couldnt hear each other from the other end of the corridoor and we kept saying crap like "why's the sky blue?" "no! the sky's black! " or "why is grass green?" "cause it's not blue." and it was so shi bai that we resorted to sining "why we so shi bai!" -.- super lame.

then we went to mellissa's station. which was to cross some sort of obstruction thing thing. and jasmine kept being saboed by mellissa. WHICH WAS BAD. cause im paired up with jasmine.

then we went to jiaying's station in the bandroom. which was to form some sort of word with our bodies when we were being blindfolded. o.O i was being chosen to like instruct my group but i was so shi bai and cheryl took over. aye.

then after that, we had to play this game involving the whole band, where we were scattered across the quad, and we were blindfolded, and we had to call animal noises to get back into our groups. and my group was a cat lah. then when the game started, the comm started bursting balloons!!! and our group was miao-ing damn loudly but we were the last to get back into our groups. aye. quite loser. and yufei's group was a cow and since they were group 2, they went "tooooooooooooooo." omg. faint.

then we watched "dude, where's my car?" omg. it's a brainless movie i tell you. something about conquering the universe. damn lame. i didnt know that smellymelli (mellissa. that's the new nickname nutcase invented for her. o.O) watched such dumb blond movies! haha. AND THENNNN.... omg. jasmine nutcase and i kept laughing at that part lah! and jasmine could imitate it really well! haha! everytime she said that we kept laughing like siao.

after that we went to brush teeth and sleep. haha. omg nutcase very cute lah! she brought her pyjamas to wear to sleep!

and when it was time to sleep, JASMINE TAN was damn noisy! she kept talking and talking and poor sabrina and nutcase couldnt sleep lah! even when sabrina shifted ffurther away from me, cause i was sleeping beside jasmine and nutscase was on the other side of jasmine. jiaying was lying perpendicular to sabrina, nutcase, jasmine and i, and germain and mellissa were lying on the other side of jiaying. even germain from so far off could hear jasmine lah! omg. and jasmine kept talking about random stuff. and she kept singing! waliao eh. super noisy can! and she said goodnight 4 times before she finally went to sleep can! and by that time it was already 0030 and we were supposed to sleep ay 11.45! it's like :

and EVERYTIME when I was about to doze off (I was like feeling super drowsy + I keep slurring ideas and words together) jasmine will say:" EH NUTCASE YOU SLEEPING AH?!!!?!?!?" then my sleeping spirit went off and I ROWRRRREEEDDD AT HER. hahahahah

HAHAHAHHA then at the 4th good night aka the last good night..

us: FINALLY.

haha actually she was listening to my handphone before she could sleep. aye. tsk man.

day 2

woke up at 6 something and we went out surprised to find that it was quite bright and it's raining! so marching was cancelled and we had band prac. but before that, we had breakfast! had hi-5 bread for breakfast, with milo. and nutcase was like "ohh hi-5 bread very healthy! good good! "

jasmine: "ehh! you know, the factory put the bread on the floor with all the mice running about one leh. you never read the news meh?"

haha. then jiaying nutcase jasmine and i went to the benches at the classroom block to eat in our "四人世界"and jasmine and jiaying kept saying that nutcase and i were les-ing with each other. wth! no lorh! we're straight lorh! qoutes yufei: I think jasmine is secrety jealous of us lor HAHAHAH she keep saying we are in our er ren shi jie I think she secretly wants to join in too HAHAHA

then nutcase very greedy! she took like 2 slices of bread and in the end she couldnt eat finish. AYE. tsk man.

then we had band prac. then i became quite moody. sorry jasmine! cause i was damn tired and my legs were aching from all the marching the day before and i couldnt believe that after that i had skin center appointment and i have to travell all the way there like WTH! rawrr. but it's ok. we played jericho!!!! yay i love our syf piece! it's very nice! the only dumb thing is that we changed our piece from pirate's dreams to jericho cause HC was playing pirate's dreams and now after we've changed it, HC 's changing their piece to jericho too. urgh irritating.

but anyway, our SYF set piece is so cute!!! NIGHT SAFARI! we get to do stuffs we dont normally do in a piece! haaha so fun! (:

then after that we went to thai noodle house to eat! and cheryl, jacey, jasmine and i went to coro's NTUC to shop for midnight snacks! (:

then after that we kept talking about ISWAK until i went off for skin center appointment. aye damn tiring. but it's ok. cause my condition's getting better! and my sister's conditioning is getting worse. HEHHEH. then i went back to school. missed their NAP TIME! and marching. AYE. ): then in our 2-hour bathing time, i quickly went to bathe and came out to play some exciting game with jiaying, guan teng, rachel, sabrina, melanie, jasmine, nutcase, jacey, clara, and cheryl. that's all i think. cant remember. quite fun and funny cause we kept calling wrong names and melanie kept pointing and pointing but not saying anything. haha! (:

anyway, after that we had CAMPFIRE!!! (: haha. more of a CANDLE-FIRE! we went down to the quadrangle and arranged all the candles in the words "I <3>

yay. then after that we had dinner! fried rice! we sat in a circle outside the G.O. and played pass the parcel. then lower brasses had to do a dare. which was to run around the feild cheering band cheer. qoutes jasmine: "EHH SIEWYING! we not brasses leh! i play the double bass, which is a STRING instrument!" HAHA. but in the end we still WALKED PAST the field cheering the band cheer. note WALKED PAST. haha.

then horns had a dare, which was to go up to the 2nd level outside the podium and shout "I'M SO HOT THAT THE SCHOOL IS ON FIRE!" haha! then nutcase and jiaying and ziyan got saboed by mellissa jasmine and i cause we said we couldnt hear and they had to do it twice.

then nut named melanie prettymela! actually the pretty is melanie force us to put one lorh. haha! and melanie damn funny! we kept singing stupid songs and actions that melanie initiated. haha! omg melanie super lame. and i kept laughing beside her cause of all the stupid stuff she did.

then tabitha and emily played their guitars for us while we sang christmas carols! and nut and melanie were laming about with jasmine and mellissa on the other side. aye. then we kept saying "AND THENNNNN." and laughing stupidly to oursleves. then after that, we went to the quadrangle to clean up the max on the floor. and by the time i got back to the bandroom, i saw this.

ok it's abit too dark to see. basically it's jasmine, nutcase, jiaying, sabrina, and melanie sitting there and eating the food that they got from the prize-presentation during campfire. hohum. we tried playing moulin rouge but it got stuck after 15mins so we played the phantom of the opera. haha nut kept asking jiaying about the movie like she was the director cause jiaying said she watched it 3 times le. it went like :

cinders:... AIYAH HOW I KNOW!

yufei: I thought you watched it 3 times already?

haha i realised that the last band camp, i spent it with jasmine and nutcase. this camp was no different. haha.

that night jasmine didnt continue her cycle of talking! probably because she was listening to "只对你有感觉" and drifted off to sleep. haha!

day 3

woke up earlier than the rest of the band cause i had psgl duty in the morning. all the ushering and stuff. did duty with janice and she was like "DORRY (nutcase) looks so different!!"after i showed her the pictures i took. o.O duty ended at 10 and i went back for band prac. (: then after that we broke camp.

yay this camp was very fun! partly because it was lame that's why. hurhur.
